A BREAKDOWN OF THE PROCEEDINGS AND HOW THE SEPARATE ISSUES WILL BE ADDRESSED

Randy Barnett’s reasoning as to why this lawsuit has merit is simple, the Supreme Court of the United States would not have allowed so much time to hear the case if it was frivolous. Still, he offers a broader breakdown as to why he thinks the entire law will be dismissed.

1. UNPRECEDENTED – Such legislation has never been implemented before.

2. UNLIMITED – The Obamacare law has no limits; it allows the government to expand its power exponentially.

3. UNNECESSSARY – Congress could have implemented health care reform with the powers they already have, they chose not to.

4. DANGEROUS – This individual mandate could force people, at a later time, to comply with the government in other trivial matters.
